Privacy Policy

Updated By LoginMyRouter Team

The short version

  • You do not need an account to use LoginMyRouter, and we do not offer one.
  • Our web server keeps standard technical logs for security and troubleshooting.
  • Public pages set no cookies unless the site owner turns on analytics.
  • Our calculators and the WiFi QR Code Generator run in your browser. Your WiFi name and password for the QR code never leave your device.

Who we are

This policy covers LoginMyRouter.com, run by the LoginMyRouter Team. You can reach us at the email address shown in the site footer.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our server records basic details of each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs to keep the site running, investigate errors and protect it from abuse. Logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes and are then deleted or rotated by our hosting setup. We do not combine them with other information to identify you, and we do not sell them.

Our tools

  • Router Finder, Subnet Calculator and WiFi QR Code Generator run entirely in your browser. What you enter is processed on your device and not sent to our server. In particular, the network name and password you type into the WiFi QR Code Generator never leave your device; the QR image is created locally and saved only if you download it.
  • IP Typo Fixer: the address you check may appear in the page URL, so it can show up in our server logs like any other page request. It is not linked to you or used for anything else.
  • What Is My IP reads your public IP address and browser user-agent from your request in order to show them to you. They are not stored beyond our normal server logs.

Cookies and analytics

Public pages do not set cookies by default. The site owner can switch on Google Analytics in the site settings to understand which guides are useful. When it is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type, under Google's own privacy terms. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser extension that blocks analytics.

The administration area uses a session cookie for site administrators only. Visitors to public pages never receive it.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to improve our guides, and we do not add you to any mailing list. Please never send passwords or full photos of your router label.

Children

The site is a general technical resource and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and removal requests

You may ask us to delete emails you have sent us, or to remove log entries tied to an IP address you control where that is technically possible. Write to the address in the site footer and tell us what you would like removed. We will confirm once it is done.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, for example by adding a new tool, we will update this page and its date. Significant changes will be noted at the top of the policy.
