Router Finder
Not sure which address opens your router? Choose your country and your internet provider. The finder shows the default login IP, where to find the username and password, and a link to the full guide for that provider.

How the Router Finder works
We keep a list of the modems and routers that internet providers in each country hand out, together with the login address they normally use. Providers change models from time to time, so if the address shown does not open, check the label on your device or find your default gateway as shown below.
- Router label: the sticker on the back or bottom of the router usually lists the login address, username and WiFi password.
- Windows: open Command Prompt, type
ipconfigand look for Default Gateway. - Mac: System Settings → Network → your connection → Details → TCP/IP → Router.
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → Wi-Fi → tap the (i) next to your network → Router.
- Android: Settings → WiFi → tap the connected network → look for Gateway or Router (the wording depends on the phone).
Provider not listed?
Most routers use one of a handful of addresses. Try 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1, or browse all router IP guides.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Router Finder free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and works on any phone or computer.
Why does my router use a different IP than the one shown?
Some providers ship several models, and a technician or a previous owner may have changed the address. The label on the router or the default gateway on your phone or computer always shows the address your router really uses.
Can the finder show my WiFi password?
No. Each router has its own password. The finder tells you where it is usually printed (normally the label) or how to change it after you log in.
