Not working? Check the label on the back or bottom of your router.

192.168.15.1 is the router address that Vivo uses for its Vivo Fibra home routers in Brazil. To log in, connect to the router's WiFi or cable, open http://192.168.15.1 in a browser (a private/incognito tab works best), type admin in lowercase as the user and enter the senha de acesso printed on the label underneath the router. That label password is not the same as your senha do Wi-Fi, which is a common source of failed logins.

Here is how to sign in, change your network name and password, and use the App Vivo if you would rather not touch the router page at all.

About 192.168.15.1 and Vivo Fibra

Vivo's fiber routers create a home network in the 192.168.15.x range and keep their settings page at 192.168.15.1. Other Brazilian providers use different numbers: Claro / NET usually sits on 192.168.0.1, while Oi Fibra and TIM Live mostly use 192.168.1.1. If you are not sure which box you have, the Brazil hub lists every provider we cover, and our Vivo Fibra router login guide goes deeper into the brand.

Vivo installs routers from several manufacturers, so the layout of the page can vary. The address, the admin user and the label password are what stay the same.

Change the WiFi name and senha

Vivo recommends changing only the network name and password fields, and leaving everything else as the technician configured it.

  1. Log in at 192.168.15.1 as above.
  2. Open Menu > Configurações.
  3. Choose the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network. The 5 GHz band is faster near the router; 2.4 GHz reaches further.
  4. In the SSID field, type the new network name.
  5. Click the password field and type the new senha do Wi-Fi, at least 12 characters with letters and numbers.
  6. Write both down and click Salvar. Repeat for the other band if you want the same name on both.

Prefer the app? Use Vivo Smart Wi-Fi

The App Vivo has a Smart Wi-Fi area under Casa Inteligente (the house icon at the top). From there you can tap Wi-Fi principal > Editar nome e senha, see connected devices, pause a device, restart the modem, run a speed test and recover a forgotten network password. For most people this is quicker than the router page, and it avoids changing advanced settings by accident.

What about the installer login?

When you search for this address you may see references to an instalador (installer) login. That is a separate technician account used during installation and for settings tied to the fiber connection itself, which Vivo manages remotely. It is not meant for customers, we do not publish it, and using it can break your connection or void support. Everything a household needs, from the WiFi name to the password, is available with the normal admin login or the app.

Find your gateway if 192.168.15.1 fails

  • Windows: open Command Prompt, run ipconfig and note the Default Gateway (in Portuguese Windows: Gateway Padrão).
  • Android: Wi-Fi > tap your network > details or advanced > Gateway.
  • iPhone: Ajustes > Wi-Fi > (i) > Roteador.
  • Mac: System Settings > Network > Wi-Fi > Details > TCP/IP > Router.

If the gateway shows another number, you may be connected through a second router or a mesh point. Log in to the address shown instead.

Login problems

  • Senha incorreta: you may be typing the WiFi password. Use the access password from the label, and type the user as admin with no capitals.
  • Page blank or stuck: use an incognito tab or clear the cache.
  • Label unreadable: the App Vivo can still change the WiFi name and password.
  • Nothing works: restart the router by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Avoid the reset button unless Vivo support asks you to; a reset can remove the fiber configuration and may need a technician to restore.

Stay secure

  • Never post a photo of the router label online; it contains your access password.
  • Do not share the access password with guests. Give them only the WiFi password, or a QR code from our WiFi QR Code Generator.
  • Check the connected devices list in the app now and then.
  • Use WPA2 or WPA3 for both bands.

It is easy to type 192.168.1.15, 192.168.l5.1 or 192.168.151 by mistake. Paste the address into the IP Typo Fixer to get it right.

What is the user and password for 192.168.15.1?

The user is admin in lowercase, and the password is the senha de acesso printed on the label under your Vivo router.

Is the access password the same as my WiFi password?

No. The WiFi password connects devices to the network; the access password opens the router settings. Both are on the label from the factory.

Can I change my Vivo WiFi password without logging in to the router?

Yes. In the App Vivo, go to Casa Inteligente, Smart Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi principal and choose Editar nome e senha.

Should I use the instalador login?

No. It is reserved for Vivo technicians. The normal admin login covers what customers need.

Why does 192.168.15.1 not open on my phone?

Your phone may be on mobile data or a different network. Switch off mobile data, connect to the Vivo WiFi and try again in a private tab.

Is it safe to press the reset button?

Only if Vivo support asks you to. A reset can remove settings the technician configured for your fiber line.
