Converge router login is how you change the WiFi password on your FiberX modem. Connect to the Converge WiFi, open http://192.168.1.1 and sign in with the username and password printed on the modem's label. If you added your own router behind the Converge modem, that router often uses 192.168.0.1 instead.

How to log in
- Connect your phone or laptop to the Converge WiFi, or use a LAN cable from the modem.
- Check the label on the back or bottom of the modem for the login username and password.
- Type http://192.168.1.1 in your browser's address bar and press Enter.
- Enter the username and password from the label and log in.
- If the page doesn't load, check the Gateway in your phone's WiFi details and use that address.

How to change the WiFi password
- Log in to the modem at 192.168.1.1.
- Open the WiFi settings, usually called WLAN, Wireless or Network > WLAN.
- Choose the 2.4 GHz network and change the name (SSID) if you like.
- Keep security on WPA2-PSK (or WPA2/WPA3) with AES.
- Enter the new password in the WPA PreSharedKey or Passphrase field and click Apply or Save.
- Do the same for the 5 GHz network, then reconnect your devices.
Change the default admin password as soon as you're in.
Converge router login: modem or your own router?
The Converge modem's page is normally at 192.168.1.1. Many households add a TP-Link, Tenda or mesh router for better coverage; those usually live at 192.168.0.1 or in their own app. Change the WiFi password on the device that broadcasts the network your phone joins, or you'll update the wrong one. Converge change WiFi password: tips that save a call
- Change both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, or give them the same name and password.
- Smart TVs and CCTV systems need the new password typed in again.
- Use 10+ characters mixing letters and numbers; avoid your surname or birthday.
- Changing the password disconnects everyone, which is the quickest way to remove unknown users.
See connected devices
After logging in, look for a status page listing WLAN clients, DHCP clients or connected devices. Each one shows a name and MAC address. Many modems also have a MAC filter under the WLAN settings if you want to block a single device without changing the password. Tip: give your own phones and laptops clear names in their settings so that strangers stand out in the list.
Resetting a Converge modem
A restart (power off for 30 seconds) solves most issues. A factory reset with the pinhole (about 10 seconds) brings back the label login and WiFi details, but on a fiber modem it may also clear settings Converge applied. Reach out to Converge before resetting if you're unsure.
When to contact Converge
A red LOS light, a blinking PON light or no internet after a restart usually means a line issue that only Converge can fix. Do I need to restart the modem after changing the WiFi password?
No. The new password works as soon as you click Apply. Every device is disconnected and has to rejoin with the new password; restart only if a device refuses to reconnect.
