Pocket WiFi login works the same way on most SIM-based devices in the Philippines: connect to the device, open its address in a browser and sign in with the details on its label. DITO's guide for its 5G Home WiFi uses http://192.168.8.1, many other pocket WiFi and LTE modems use 192.168.8.1 or 192.168.1.1, and Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi uses globebroadband.net.
This guide shows how to change the WiFi password, where load and promos are handled, how to get a better signal and how to reset a device you're locked out of.

How to log in
- Turn on the device and wait for the signal light.
- Connect your phone or laptop to its WiFi using the name and password on the label (on pocket units it's often under the battery cover).
- Open a browser and type http://192.168.8.1. If it doesn't load, try http://192.168.1.1, or http://globebroadband.net on Globe Home Prepaid WiFi.
- Log in with the username and password printed on the device label.
- The dashboard shows signal strength, network type and connected devices.
Not working? Check the label on the back or bottom of your router.
How to change the WiFi password
- Log in to the device dashboard.
- Open the WiFi settings: on DITO 5G Home WiFi it's WiFi Settings, then 2.4GHz or 5GHz; on Globe Home Prepaid WiFi it's WLAN > WLAN Basic Settings; other models use WLAN or Wi-Fi.
- Make sure WiFi is switched on, then edit the network name (SSID) if you want.
- Type a new password of at least 8 characters with WPA2 security.
- Click Save or Apply and reconnect using the new password.

Change the default admin password as soon as you're in.

Load and promos aren't on the device page
The dashboard handles WiFi and device settings, but load and promos are tied to the SIM. DITO Home Prepaid promos are bought in the DITO app, and Globe Home Prepaid WiFi promos are registered through GlobeOne. If the signal is fine but there's no internet, check your load or promo first.
Better signal for pocket WiFi and LTE modems
- Put the device near a window, on a flat open surface, away from microwaves, TVs, radios and refrigerators.
- If the signal light turns red right after inserting the SIM, it may be loose; reseat it.
- Use the original charger, and keep the device indoors and out of direct sun.
Forgot the WiFi password?
Log in from a device that's still connected or by cable, open the WiFi settings and view the password; DITO's dashboard has an eye icon for this. If you forgot the admin password, a reset is the only way back in. DITO's guide says to press the reset button for 7 seconds; other devices use a similar pinhole. Everything returns to the label defaults, while your SIM, number and load stay the same.
Getting help
DITO lists help in its app, at dito.ph/help-center and on Facebook Messenger. Globe users can use GlobeOne or the hotlines on Globe's contact page. Smart users should use Smart's official app or website. Our Philippines hub lists every provider guide.
Security tips
- Change the default WiFi name and password; garbled default names are also worth renaming.
- Change the admin password if your device allows it.
- Don't install apps that claim to boost signal or give free data; they can steal your details.
Frequently asked questions
What is the pocket WiFi login IP?
Many devices use 192.168.8.1, including DITO 5G Home WiFi. Others use 192.168.1.1, and Globe Home Prepaid WiFi uses globebroadband.net.
Where is my pocket WiFi password?
On the label of the device, often under the battery cover on pocket units. The admin login is printed there too.
How do I change the WiFi password on DITO 5G Home WiFi?
Connect to it, open 192.168.8.1, log in with the label details, go to WiFi Settings, choose 2.4GHz or 5GHz, edit the password and click Save.
Can I add load from 192.168.8.1?
No. Load and promos are handled through your provider's app or other official channels, not the device dashboard.
Why does my pocket WiFi have signal but no internet?
Usually the load or promo has run out, or the SIM isn't activated. Check in your provider's app or contact them.
Why is my pocket WiFi slow at night?
Evenings are peak hours, so nearby cell sites get busy. Moving the device near a window, using the 5 GHz band for nearby devices if your unit has it, and limiting the number of connected users all help.
How do I reset my pocket WiFi?
Press and hold the reset button (DITO says 7 seconds for its 5G Home WiFi). The WiFi and admin details return to the label defaults.
